Helping 1,500 Families in Need in Rehovot (רְחוֹבוֹת)
Now, the ISRAEL365 nonprofit is running 1,500 Needy Families Campaigns through September 25th. The name of the person in charge of this charity movement is Amir Tzabar.

Amir Tzabar who runs a food bank
Amir Tzabar was in a very difficult financial situation five years ago. He was so poor that he could not feed his family. He was frustrated, and contacted a local charity and received a weekly package of food delivered. The charity's kindness saved his life.
He vowed to God that he would help the needy if he stood up from this excruciating pain. And he swore and vowed to help them with the utmost sensitivity to their dignity.
Two years ago, Amir finally stood up again. Despite the economic collapse during the coronavirus lockdown, God blessed him with a noble income so he could support his family, pay off debts and fulfill his vows to help those in need.
To fulfill his oath, he initially started a volunteer food bank serving one family once a week. Alone, he bought food and delivered it home late at night. The struggling families had no idea who gave them this food, so their dignity was preserved.
Currently, Amir's food bank is helping fifty-three families every week.
Dozens of at-risk teenage volunteers help sort, bag, and deliver food. We offer cereal, rice, flour, eggs, milk, oil, juice, fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and other special Sabbath food every week.
To protect the dignity of the needy family, Amir and his volunteers deliver food in late-night local supermarket bags. In this way, food appears to be delivered from supermarkets and not charities.
Although Amir has succeeded in serving the poor in Rehovot (רְחוֹבוֹת), one threat that could cut off his success is the lack of food storage space.
Amir runs a food bank on Thursday nights in a donated room that is only available for two hours a week. This means that food shipments, sorting, packaging and shipping must happen very quickly in tight spaces.
In the current space, Amir can help 53 families with Sabbath food once a week. But for the rest of the week, Amir ran out of storage space and was forced to turn away from his hungry families.
And even more crucially, Amir has more than 1,500 families in need of food for the great Jewish feast that begins on September 25th.
Serving holiday food to a large family can be expensive. At the same time, fewer paid jobs are available during the holiday season, which means less money for the family. Not surprisingly, the cost of food alone puts many in this family into debt. Amir wants to save them from this debt.
Sadly, Amir may have to tragically turn away from this poor family of 1,500 because of limited food storage space.
But now we have good news. The city of Rehovot trusts what Amir does. They recently gave him a small plot of land where he could set up 1,000 square feet of storage. Half of the battle was won, but the war was not over.
To help more families, Amir only needs to purchase a $30,000 prefabricated mini-warehouse with same-day shipping. Once the necessary funds are secured, Amir can feed 1,500 households in less than 8 hours.
His new facility has ample space for long-term storage. This allows him to immediately bulk order dry and frozen food at very low prices and helps more families.
Our International Livingway Mission (ILM) is praying for Amir to join in what he is doing.
There seems to be no time to delay now, as the Great Feast begins on September 25 in Israel. We pray for Amir to fulfill his godly mission of feeding 1,500 households now and in the future. And we look forward to the 1,500 needy families in Rehovot to experience God's blessings and have the most enjoyable holiday season during this great holiday season.
